I'm so grateful to all of you who have listened to my newest album "Living Proof" and have commented
on the music. I remain enthusiastic about creating new music, recording, writing, experimenting, learning, collaborating. It's really such a blessing to have this momentum. I'm very proud with this album, I hope your reading of the lyrics (elsewhere on this website) enhances the experience, and provides a view into my thoughts and feelings.

Love "Living Proof" and I am so thrilled that you are still writing, playing and singing new stuff. I'm also glad you included the lyrics and notes in the PDF. Love the cover art as well! Thanks for a great album!
You're very welcome Robert, and thank you for putting out such a great album. Personally, I want to thank you continuing to be so creative...because you are an inspiration to people of my age (and yours.....although mine isn't much younger than yours).
I look forward to hearing more from you as well as new material from Chicago.

I was disappointed to read that "I Confess" was rejected for Chicago XXX. Not surprised though.... I think you made it clear in other posts that you weren't entirely pleased with the song selection for XXX but that is topic for another day.It is truly a remarkable song and would have made a great Chicago song.. "Living Proof is another incredible song that would also be perfect for Chicago...Perhaps one day Chicago will find a way to record these on a future album.

Permalink Reply by Sandra Perkins on January 30, 2012 at 10:40am I've listened to Living Proof so much that I'm starting to wear it out. I really enjoy it, and I enjoy Zosia's voice too. (She's better than she thinks she is - ha). I'm so impressed by the range on this album. I can't pick out a favorite because they are all so good. That single red band of color in the artwork on the front of the case is intense - it's cool - and it compliments the solid red on the back. The Blue Infinity symbol reminded me of your old website..always liked the phrase 'Blue Infinity'. Thank you for making the lyrics easily available to us. Thank you also for including us in the process - it's been a lift for me! I'm off to take the album back from my son (who "borrows" it regularly). Keep the faith! :)
Permalink Reply by mary parrotto on January 30, 2012 at 10:40am Hi Robert....always a pleasure to listen to your new material and the new CD is awesome. One could only hope at some point you will consider perhaps a solo performance in support of this project much like you did with "Leap of Faith" at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood. mary
Thank you Robert! It's always a pleasure listening to your songs, with "Chicago" or solo, and "Living Proof" is no exception. Your music and songwriting just keeps getting better and better! Thanks for the music and the memories! I can't wait to hear more!
