Any comments on Chicago adding "Street Player" to the line-up on this past week's live Yahoo concert from Az?
"Chicago 13", from where the song came, probably (I'm guessing) one of the lowest selling "first-run" albums, with no big hits, and having Donnie Dacus on lead. FYI: It was brought to my attention (by the PD at the station) that on a previous post, I mentioned WHLI AM. THE CALL LETTERS ARE 1100AM (not 1200). Check it out on line, as they have the great sense of having CHICAGO AS PERFORMERS OF THE WEEK (including the new songs: "Something's Comin...", and, "More Today..."), The entire playlist is fabulous.

Having seen Chicago in so many, many venues since Carnegie Hall, I was shocked to see my all-time favorites playing FOR FREE at Coney island on August 20, 2013. Living in the NYC, and going to that beach literally 100's of times over the years, of course, I'm planning on attending. Has anyone ever been to one of these Coney Island concerts? I don't want to be disappointed by not being able to even get near the stage, see or hear the band.

In later years, the song became a staple of the last (and missed) oldie station in NYC, WCBS-FM. I can still hear my dearly…Continue
