Just a FYI.... The concert from a few years back at Charter One Pavilion on Lake Michigan is debuting on HDNet this Sunday at 8 p.m. (CST) & again Mon. Dec. 12 at 12:45 a.m. Check your listings. Looks like it's a 90-minute program. HDNet is channel 360 on DirecTV and 362 on DishNetwork.This is the night CHI shared the stage w/ The Doobie Brothers, who together performed an encore. The always impressive Concord (Calif.) Blue Devils drum & bugle corps included a short "brass extra" on their 2010 CD of their show "Through A Glass Darkly" -- James Pankow's "Cannon." Thought this past summer's pre-show mix was excellent, probably best I've heard. Great balance of both old & new Chicago material & really well put together. Wondering who might have produced this (Lee Loughnane?) and whether something like this could be put up in the digital store for purchase. I think it'd be a great thing for fans.

Pre-Concert Mix of Chicago Music
