CHICAGO CONTRIBUTE SONGS AND MAKE CAMEO IN HBO FILMS PRESENTATION OF CLEAR HISTORY
DEBUTING AUGUST 10 AND STARRING LARRY DAVID

JON HAMM, Kate Hudson, Michael Keaton, Eva Mendes AND OTHERS CO-STAR

HBO’s feature-length presentation, Clear History, debuts Saturday, August 10 (9:00-10:45 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO, and has continued airings throughout the month. Legendary rock band with horns, Chicago, make a cameo, and contribute five of their greatest hits to the film. The band is actually a sub-plot of the movie, and is prominently featured in the film from beginning to end.

Chicago also performed at the film’s premiere party last week in Los Angeles.CLEAR HISTORY stars Larry David as Nathan Flomm, a marketing executive at a start-up electric car company, who, after a petty argument with his boss, gives up his 10% of the shares. The company then goes on to make billions of dollars, leaving Flomm publicly humiliated, his life destroyed. Ten years later, he has changed his name to Rolly DaVore and moved to Martha’s Vineyard. All is well until something from his past threatens to disrupt his new life.

Said the band about the comedy, “We had a great time working with everyone on the film. It was a lot of fun, and we hope our fans enjoy it as much as we did!”

Larry David is very funny, and his humor is laced with off color language, so the story line involving Chicago didn't surprise me. It was great fun to see the four original band members and fantastic PR to feature five of their songs. However, Chicago is a class act, and when I think of the word "blow" in connection to Chicago, I relate it to the band's horn section.

Watched it several times already - can't just see it once - too much going on - gotta watch it several times to catch all the sub-plots and incredible dialogue & jokes.

Watched the movie last night.  What fun!  A very funny movie!  However, the bands part, other than playing a concert, was that they were 'Involved" with certain females in the movie.  I have to say I was a little jealous.  lol.  Just kidding.  The movie was great fun and it was great to see our guys in an acting part.  I thought they did very well!!!  Congratulations Chicago!!!!!

Well I am anxiously awaiting the film. I do have HBO from my cable company. Anyway, I love David w/ Curb Your Enthusiasm, and if he's not going to do the series anymore, at least we can see the movie, right? And I do hope Chicago gets their due in this movie, too! Saw some of the previews, and I thought, hey, they're playing '25 or 6 to 4' on one of the intros!!!!! Yey! I have followed Chicago's career since CTA's 1969-1970, dang, a looooonnnng time ago, and I am still a huge fan!!!! Get down, Chicago, you go guys!!!!!

Is the movie going to be available on DVD, I wonder? I do not subscribe to HBO (at $20 a month)  but would want to see it.
