Congratulations to Chicago for their incredible week - playing with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, their free benefit concert for Illinois tornado victims, and their first Grammy performance. 28.5 million fans got to see how fabulous Chicago now sounds performing live. So happy the band got this exposure for their music, but it's going to be even harder to get concert tickets :)
I was bugged too.....would have preferred a straight-up Chicago performance!!!
I was glad to see and hear Chicago at the GRAMMIES', but I was irked that Robin Thicke totally drowned out Robert Lamm's voice during all three of CTA's tunes, and BTW, Saturday in the Park, was NOT on CTA's album, OK??? Nevertheless, glad to see my boys get their final due for their magnificent debut album, and keep on rocking boys!!!!!!
Really good to see and hear Chicago on the Grammy award show; you guys are great! Congratulations!
Yes, It's About Time these guys got some recognition!!!! Go Chicago!!!! Say folks I was wondering, any possibility Danny or Peter will be there tonight?
Can't wait for the GRAMMY'S to see my favorite band CHICAGO!!!!! A very deserving award for one of the
greatest influential albums of it's time! Congradulations CHICAGO!!!!!!!
I haven't watched the Grammys in a long time but I will this year. Rock on Chicago.
Thanks, Jeffrey! I just read recently, the interview about the upcoming Chicago Symphony Orchestra, their associations with past members of CSO, etc.I really enjoyed this piece and the author/interviewer did a really nice job showcasing the connections between these two iconic musical masters. And so cool that each came into their own(became 'famous!') the same time, same year.
As we all said, 'back in the day', -Heavy, man!!
